Join Sierra Club Connecticut and Housatonic Valley Association (HVA) for a free film screening and discussion of the film “What Lies Upstream” by filmmaker Cullen Hoback. Its story is unsettling as residents of West Virginia begin to notice their tap water has a peculiar smell.
5:30 light refreshments, 6 – 8 pm film and discussion with Martha Klein, RN, MPH and Sierra Club Connecticut Executive Committee and Mike Jastremski, HVA Watershed Conservation Director. Educational materials about the role of wastewater residuals in water contamination and interpretative maps and materials about the health of the Housatonic and Still Rivers will be available.
