Charitable Bequests
A bequest is perhaps the simplest planned gift to make. It is also an effective, trusted way to support causes you care about for years to come, with certainty that your charitable intentions will be honored.
A gift to Housatonic Valley Association through your will or living trust can support the general charitable purposes of HVA or can be designated to benefit a particular program area or fund.
Because the savings in state and federal death taxes resulting from a gift to Housatonic Valley Association can be dramatic, your charitable bequest can benefit your family’s inheritance and strengthen the stewardship of the Housatonic River valley.
