August 10th: Student Stories from Still River Watershed Connections

August 1, 2018 By HVAadmin

Come join our Still River Watershed Connections team and hear firsthand how they:

  • Sweated the humid days to remove Knotweed at the Still River Greenway in Danbury;
  • Survived mosquito attacks to pull out Barberry at the Still River Preserve in New Milford;
  • Weathered the rain to plant a riparian buffer at Bennett Memorial Park in Bethel;
  • Cleared a section at Harrybrooke Park for a NEW canoe launch;
  • Braved the sun to install a new information sign at Lake Kenosia;
  •  … and much much more!

We hope you’ll join us.
