GE challenges EPA’s proposed cleanup plan for Housatonic River, insisting on Berkshire PCB landfills

At a hearing before the Environmental Appeals Board in Washington, D.C., General Electric contested the EPA's plan for removing PCB-laced sediment from the Housatonic River and transporting it to a licensed treatment facility. It instead wants to put it in disiposal sites in the Berkshires. The Berkshire Edge published an article on this hearing.
